Concept report UEMS visitation of training centres for the medical speciality of Allergology in France.

A visitation of 2 allergology centres was organised in France in June 2018.

This visit was voluntarily solicited by the Société Française d’Allergologie (SFA). It followed the charter on visitation of training centres, edited by UEMS Allergology section and Board The aim of visitations was to improve the quality and to stimulate international harmonisation of specialists training by scrutinizing procedures policies and facilities.

The visitation committee was composed of  R. Gerth van Wijk, president, J. de Monchy, N. Mülleneisen secretary, J.M. Olaguibel, G. Vilà-Nadal, junior member and  J.L. Fauquert (Organisation for SFA)

The visitation committee headed by R Gerth van Wijk, evaluated the quality of training is adequate, and implemented conditional advices and recommendations. This ends for both centres to a certification of the centres for the 5 ongoing years
